This is where I share thoughts about the work I love and my ethos that “everything is an experiment,” a discovery opportunity. I am a scientist by training and naturally curious. When I started in technology, I was a programmer/analyst and then a consultant. I enjoyed being a software tester for most of my career in software engineering. I did right by my stakeholders through understanding the technical landscape’s underpinnings and the diverse dimensions of how internal & external stakeholder define “quality. This enabled (& still enables) me to ask questions that ultimately lead to early problem discovery, better planning, and to better products. I have also confidently worn product/program owner and engineering manager hats. While I have a technical background, it’s the human side of systems engineering where I really shine.
These days, I serve as a bridge between customers, data, engineering, and product. I derive satisfaction through fostering transparency, building teams, & delivering customer experiences & products that “Wow.” I live in northwestern Montana. I enjoy reading, cooking, yoga, open water swimming, and outdoor adventures with my husband and our 8-year-old English Lab, Lary. Thanks for stopping by.
Warm regards to you from the Land of Shining Mountains,
